Following the huge success of Fairtrade’s multinational interactive Advent Calendar in 2023, GPM retained the design & develop work for the 2024 project and delivered a rich user-centric and fun environment. The objectives of educating on Fairtrades core mission in the Global South and gaining user participation through prize-winning daily quizzes was again a resounding success with over 400,000 entries between the 1st to 24th December!

A new fluid-grid interface, with direct calls-to-action as well as updated soy prices delivered via a dynamic tickertape engine, allows stakeholders to drilldown instantly to what matters to them, particularly on mobile and in low-connectivity environments.

Fairtrade has developed a holistic price discovery model for establishing Living Income Reference Prices (LIRP), which constitutes an integral part of its Living Income strategy. A LIRP indicates the price needed for a full-time farmer with a sustainable productivity level to earn a living income. A living income is sufficient income to afford a decent standard of living for the household members, including a nutritious diet, decent housing, education, health care, other essential needs and a provision for unexpected events.

A bold initiative to prove that stabilizing treatment for SMA exists, pan-European access does not. We visualised and centralised data in 12 key performance rankings, across 24 countries, using 78 data comparisons to illustrate that 18 european countries fail to provide available life-changing medicine without restrictions.
