GPM continue their incredible adventure with former CBS/60 Minutes producer and Emmy award winner Helen Malmgren and her team to deliver the XULA Investigative Stories Program (ISP).

Xavier University’s ISP brings together students and veteran journalists to examine some of the Unites States’ most critical issues and how they’re playing out in the City of New Orleans.

Each year, the program focuses on a few long-term projects. Students and directors work together on these projects like a special investigative team in a newsroom—pitching ideas, giving feedback, and helping one another when they hit a dead end.

Xavier’s goal is to equip students with investigative skills they can use not only to pursue their own careers, but also to promote a more just and humane society.
