'Fairbruary'
We’re thrilled to share news about the successful campaign “Fairbruary” launched by Fairtrade Max Havelaar Switzerland and their B2B partners Co-op, Lidl and Aldi - designed and developed by Gardner Puzelli Media.
During the month of February, we aimed to raise awareness and promote Fairtrade products by asking users to take the challenge and ‘Go Fair in February!’.
The campaign involved a secure gamification engine where a range of challenges could be completed via a personal ‘game card’, which rewarded users with collectable ‘badges’. Activities included buying Fairtrade products, signing up to an eNewsletter, downloading a recipe book and making recipes with Fairtrade products. Users became ‘Fairtrade Heroes’ by completing any activity and could share the cards they had collected via social media channels.
One of the highlights of the campaign was the Fair Trade recipe challenge, in which we encouraged people to cook and share their favourite recipes made with Fairtrade ingredients. We were delighted to see the response from our community, with over 300 Fairtrade recipes prepared.
The success of “Fairbruary” would not have been possible without the fantastic team at Fairtrade Max Havelaar and we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a more equitable and sustainable world.
